New admissions materials reinforce the community that is Harvard; its not-well-known strengths in undergraduate science and research; the House system that engenders small, tightly knit communities; and the College’s unparalleled resources. Materials also combat some outdated notions: that Harvard is too male, too competitive, too chilly, too white, and that classes are all too large. Our new language and design has an energy and edge that Harvard has… but that is not part of the current mental model. We’re collaborating to change that!
