Projecting a unified narrative of global engagement
The Global MIT website is designed to fulfill four important goals: highlight and inform about MIT’s international engagements; share stories of how MIT students, faculty and partners are making a difference on the international stage; share opportunities for global involvement for the MIT community and beyond; and continue the important and ongoing dialog about MIT’s role in innovation on a global scale.
To help meet those goals, we designed and built a responsive, scalable and manageable Drupal-driven database of programs and projects. This data is aggregated by location and thematic relevance, then further supplemented by compelling stories of individuals affiliated with the Institute making a difference across the globe.
