Roger Sametz

President / CEO

Roger works with clients to define and articulate branding and communication strategies to help them better connect with their constituencies and advance organizational goals. He received both his BA and MFA from Yale University.

Roger also writes and speaks widely on brand-building, marketing, and fundraising for a broad range of audiences, including virtual and in-person presentations for the League of American Orchestras, the Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE), the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Council for the Advancement of Secondary Education (CASE), the Association of British Orchestras, Arts Reach, and many others.

Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, MIT (multiple clients), Vermont College of Fine Arts, Colgate University, Brandeis University, Olin College of Engineering, Curtis Institute of Music, Wesleyan University, Sarah Lawrence College, Greenwich Country Day School, The Wheeler School, Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, and the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT.

Roger has formerly served on the:

Roger divides his time between Boston and the Hudson Valley, where he can often be found biking over hill and dale (mostly hill). Both his homes and the Sametz office feature his collections of Art Deco and 50s-70s Swiss posters, and enough Homer Laughlin Fiestaware and Harlequin to host a state banquet or royal wedding.
