Alex Budnitz

Principal, Creative Director

Alex translates brand strategy into compelling design across print and web. He graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with a degree in philosophy before earning an MFA in graphic design from the Yale University School of Art. Alex also teaches graphic design at Northeastern University.

When Alex is not awash in type, he likes to spend time with his family walking in beautiful landscapes (urban or natural), perusing thrift shops in search of an addition to one of his collections (moka pots, cream and sugar sets, camera lenses, vintage audio equipment, the list goes on…), or sitting in a quiet chair with a good read in a coffee shop. The soundtrack for all this? The giggling of his two kids, and tunes by everyone from the B-52s, to Fleet Foxes, to Goldfrapp, to Paul Simon.
