Chorus America is the advocacy, research, and leadership development organization for the choral field.
Together, we collaborated to plan, design, and develop a dynamic Drupal-powered website to better connect their many constituents to meaningful information, demonstrate the value of their programs and services, drive membership, and advance the Chorus America brand.
The website is driven by a dynamic content strategy that is changing the way the organization communicates its areas of focus and delivers information to the field. Through a layered taxonomy of content types, topic categories, and tags, articles and resources are dynamically indexed and served up contextually throughout the site. The site also features gated, members-only content, contextualized event feeds, and a flexible conference microsite template.
According to Chorus America, within one month of launch the site had more than 8,000 unique visitors who made more than 67,000 page views—a much larger population than their core membership. They’ve also seen a wave of new memberships, indicating that people are sharing the site and nonmembers are finding resources useful to them.
