Roger Sametz, President and Chief Executive Officer
Roger Sametz, President and Chief Executive Officer, works with clients to define and articulate branding and communication strategies that help them better connect with their constituencies and advance organizational goals. He received his BA and MFA from Yale University.
Representative academic and research clients include Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, MIT, MIT Sloan School of Management, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Dana Hall School, Colgate University, Suffolk University, Vermont College of Fine Arts, Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT, and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Alex Budnitz, Principal, Director of Design
Alex Budnitz, Director of Design, works with clients to translate strategy into communication programs that achieve results. He graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with a degree in philosophy before earning an MFA in graphic design from the Yale University School of Art. He teaches graphic design at Northeastern University. Alex’s clients at Sametz Blackstone include Haemonetics, Mount Sinai Medical Center, various MIT departments and initiatives, PAREXEL, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Brandeis University, Vermont College of Fine Arts, Skinner, Inc., Suffolk University, Harvard College, and a leading global institutional asset manager.
Brandon Comstock, Principal, Director of Digital Strategy
Brandon Comstock, Principal and Director of Digital Strategy, develops deeply resonant, brand-focused digital communications for a wide range of clients including Direxion Investments, National Fire Protection Association, Sarah Lawrence College, Northeastern College of Computer and Information Science, WGBH, Skinner Auctioneers, Project Bread, Population Services International, New England Development Company, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Mass Audubon Society, Vermont College of Fine Arts, League of American Orchestras, McGovern Institute for Brain Research, a Boston-based hedge fund, a leading global institutional asset manager, and many more. Before joining Sametz Blackstone, Brandon held marketing, communication, and public relations positions for the Boston Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, Spartacus Media Enterprises (a social mission media company dedicated to effecting positive social change through mass media), Real Art Ways (a seminal contemporary arts center in Hartford, Connecticut), and Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Brandon received a BA in Arts Management from the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music and an MBA from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management, with a concentration in business analysis and strategy.
Michael Eads, Principal, Director of Production
Michael Eads, Principal, Director of Production, oversees all print engagements at Sametz Blackstone, working collaboratively with designers and strategists to ensure brand compliance and quality control. After receiving a BA from Rhodes College and spending ten years in the advertising and publishing fields in Memphis and Boston, Michael joined Sametz Blackstone in 1993. A member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Michael has produced projects that have been published in Communication Arts, Print, andGraphic Design: USA, and has received awards from Printing Industries of America, Engraved Stationery Manufacturers Association, and Boston Lithographers and Craftsmen Club. Samar Ibrahim, Senior Designer
Samar Ibrahim, Senior Designer, works with our clients and team to develop meaningful and expressive visual communications.
Originally from Jordan, Samar graduated with honors from Middlebury College with a degree in Architectural Studies. Her thesis work, which included documenting her architectural drawings and illustrations into a booklet, was the impetus that spurred her interest in graphic design. She pursued this interest through graphic design courses at Rhode Island School for Design and Parsons the New School for Design.

Paul Kruczynski, Digital Media Developer
Paul Kruczynski, Digital Media Developer, develops web experiences that deliver clients’ goals while never losing site of users’ needs. His clients at Sametz Blackstone include Sarah Lawrence College, Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science, 2Blades Foundation, and more. Graduating Cum Laude with a BA in English from University at Buffalo, Paul’s background in writing and editing informs his holistic approach to web development, fine-tuning content strategy as much the code. With well over a decade of web experience, Paul has worked in Buffalo, Atlanta, Detroit, and Boston before joining Sametz Blackstone Associates. These various travels have led to a robust mix of work experiences: WebMD, Think, Inc; plus non-profit and educational stints at Buffalo State College (as part of a multi-award winning team) and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
Jenn Leibig, Digital Strategist
Jenn Leibig, Digital Strategist, engineers engaging and meaningful online experiences, whether she’s wielding a whiteboard pen, or the latest interactive prototyping app.
She graduated with honors from Smith College with a degree in Government, and spent six years in Boston-based nonprofits — including the Anti-Defamation League and the Peabody Essex Museum — before pursuing her lifelong love of technology with a career transition from civil rights to user advocacy. Jenn’s client engagements at Sametz Blackstone include the MIT Museum, Direxion, Project Bread, and Gordon Brothers, among others.
Caity McLaughlin Lischick, Director, Strategic Engagement
Caity works with our clients to strengthen and refine their brands through effective communications strategies. She received a BA in Art History from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia University. Caity’s clients benefit from her prior experience working in marketing at Sotheby’s auction house, in brand management at an international consumer package goods company, and in corporate fundraising at The Museum of Modern Art. At Sametz Blackstone Associates, Caity has led strategy engagements with Skinner Auctioneers, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Mount Ida College, The Jackson Laboratory, Choate Rosemary Hall, Project Bread, Sarah Lawrence College, global investment advisors and asset managers, and more.
Aaron Powers, Senior Designer
Aaron Powers, Senior Designer, works with clients and the team to create purposeful and inspired design solutions.
He graduated summa cum laude from Plymouth State University with a degree in Business before earning his MA in Graphic Design from the New England School of Art & Design where he fell in love with all things typographic.

Ange Romanska, User Experience Director
Ange Romanska, User Experience Director, works “under the hood” on client websites to craft intuitive, thoughtful user experiences. She graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Boston with a BS in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and went on to graduate magna cum laude from the New England Institute of Art with a BS in Web Design and Interactive Media, where she was the recipient of the 2012 Interactivity Award. Her clients at Sametz Blackstone include Suffolk University, Mount Ida College, Direxion, Haemonetics, Skinner, Project Bread, and a leading global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company.
Jennifer Stodola, Office Administrator
Jennifer Stodola, Office Administrator, pores over budgets and spreadsheets like our designers dive into typefaces and our developers eat, sleep, and breathe code—and her work is one of the most important building blocks of each of our client collaborations.
Jennifer manages the inner workings of client projects—keeping everyone on track, on time, and on budget—as well as office-wide financial reporting on projects. As a result, Jennifer works collaboratively with virtually every team member at Sametz Blackstone. Previously Jennifer worked for the Boston-based architectural firm Shepley Bulfinch in their Phoenix office, where she was office manager. Prior to that she worked for Archicon Architecture & Interiors in Phoenix in the same role, as well as Thomas Reprographics.
Meg Fowler Tripp, Principal, Director of Editorial Strategy
Meg Fowler Tripp, Director of Editorial Strategy, helps our clients connect more effectively with their audiences and constituents through insightful, compelling messaging, engaging copy, and interactive- and conversation-based digital and social media channels. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a double major in English and Political Science, and went on to work in marketing and directorial roles with nonprofit organizations before joining the Sametz Blackstone team. Meg’s client work includes brand-focused messaging, social and digital strategy, integrated marketing strategy, and copywriting. Among her many clients at Sametz Blackstone are Sarah Lawrence College, Choate Rosemary Hall, Haemonetics, Project Bread, Global MIT, William James College, Third Sector New England, Brandeis University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Suffolk University, Direxion, and Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Donna Wardlaw, Principal and Finance Manager
Donna Wardlaw, Principal, Finance Manager, manages the firm’s finances. She holds an Associate degree in Business and is certified by the American Accounting Association. Prior to joining Sametz Blackstone, Donna worked in the finance industry with firms including Eckstein CPA. She then moved on to the creative industry, where she served as Finance Manager for ERN Advertising, BMW Advertising, and Paul Baldassini Graphic Design. In addition to nearly twenty years of helping Sametz Blackstone maintain healthy relationships with its clients and partners, Donna also co-manages human resources and facilities.
Ben Young, Designer
Ben Young, Designer, works with our clients to develop meaningful and expressive visual communications. Hailing from small-town New Hampshire, Ben moved to Boston in 2010 to pursue a design career. He graduated cum laude from Northeastern University, where he received a BFA in Graphic Design. While at Northeastern, he worked extensively for both major brands and area startups, and along the way, developed a passion for branding and visual identity that he is putting to good use as part of the Sametz Blackstone team. Ben’s clients here at SBA include Sarah Lawrence College, Direxion Investments, and 2 Blades Foundation, among others.
